Caribbean Night, as well as the ice cream social, car show and street dance, return for Quaker Days this week.
Activities start today at 9 p.m. with a free outdoor showing of “The Goonies” on the sledding hill at Chestnut Ridge Park, or in the casino if it rains.
The Chestnut Ridge Conservancy, which is working with Aurora Art Conservation to restore the five murals inside the casino, will showcase progress on the work at 7 p.m. Monday.
The ninth annual Taste of Orchard Park will take place on Caribbean Night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Presented by the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce, the event will feature 34 food vendors offering a variety of menu items. North Buffalo Street will be closed between the four corners and NOCO.
A lawn sale and quilt raffle will take place at the Jolls House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The Police Department will have an open house with tours and hot dogs and drinks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the municipal center. The annual ice cream social kicks off at 7 p.m. at the railroad depot behind the library, where there will be fireworks at dusk.
Classic cars from the Lions Club car show will cruise into the village at 11 a.m. Saturday, where they will line up along North Buffalo Street. St. Mark’s Church, 6595 East Quaker St., will sell chicken barbecue from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The street dance, featuring the Boys of Summer, will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the Orchard Park Library Grounds.
Also during Quaker Days, The Knewz Polka Band will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Pavilion behind the Orchard Park Middle School on Lincoln Avenue. The Boston Town Band will play at 7 p.m. Thursday, Charlie & Checkers play at 11 a.m. Friday, and the Diva Show Band will go on at 7 p.m. July 28.

• The Village Board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the municipal center, 4295 S. Buffalo St.
• The Town Board will conduct a work session at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the supervisor’s conference room in the municipal center.
• The School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the new administrative building, 2240 Southwestern Blvd., West Seneca.
