A woman was able to fend off an attacker with a stun gun while in a parking lot on Pearl Street, Buffalo police said Saturday.

The incident happened in a lot on Pearl, between West Tupper and Chippewa streets, according to police reports. The suspect pushed the woman from behind, causing her to strike her head on a truck. The victim also was stabbed in the right thigh and had abrasions on her side and stomach.
