Fort Hood shooting victims deserve a Purple Heart
Today was a rare good day in reading The Buffalo News.
True patriots, the survivors of the Fort Hood shooting spree, are now speaking out. They heard the definitive cries from the radical shooter. They felt the pain of his bullets. They witnessed the sight of their buddies dropping like flies. An enemy infiltrated our lines and inflicted casualties. Still, they are not considered worthy of a Purple Heart because their leaders in Washington ruled the shooting a “workplace incident.”
They have an uphill climb, given this administration’s hesitancy to label its enemies what they are.
Granted. our servicemen and women knowingly have pledged their lives in advance for our country. But a workplace incident? What has wearing the uniform of the United States of America come to?
