A variety of drugs, approximately $7,000 in cash, a bullet-proof vest and weapons were recovered when Erie County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man suspected of selling drugs from his Town of Marilla home.
Deputies from the sheriff’s narcotics unit obtained a warrant from Town Justice Thomas S. Labin to search the home at 2842 Four Rod Road on Monday afternoon. Robert J. Dorobek, 37, who lived there, was arrested on several drug-related charges.
Crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, hydrocodone and hallucinogenic mushrooms were seized. Deputies said there was a very large amount of ammonia in the home, suggesting the possible manufacture of methamphetamine. Scales and packaging materials also were confiscated.
Deputies said a rifle and a loaded shotgun also were taken from the home.
Dorobek was taken to the county Holding Center, pending arraignment in Marilla Town Court.
