OLAF FUB SEZ: According to political commentator Arianna Huffington, born Arianna Stassinopoulos on this date in 1950, “We are not on this Earth to accumulate victories, things, and experiences, but to be whittled and sandpapered until what’s left is who we truly are.”

The Long Black Line

As we go through life,

It’s time to decide.

Which side of the line

Is the best to reside?

Should we stay on the path

That leads to the good?

Or cross over to evil,

And be misunderstood.

There is a constant struggle

Trying to do what is right.

Sometimes we need help

To give us clear sight.

Why is there always

A line drawn in the sand?

Step this way, step that way,

Which side will we land?

How does anyone know

Exactly what to do?

Listen to your heart,

And do what’s best for you.
