HAMBURG, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say they're still trying to identify the man seen on surveillance cameras at a suburban Buffalo toy store where the manager was fatally stabbed last month.
Police in the town of Hamburg tell WGRZ-TV (http://on.wgrz.com/16wbHOU ) that the person who killed 35-year-old Laurence Wells of Blasdell was already inside Wells' office when the attack occurred between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on June 29 at the Toys 'R Us store.
A store employee arriving for work at 5:45 a.m. found Wells injured inside his office. He later died at a hospital.
Police have released still photos from the store's surveillance cameras that show a man wearing a baseball cap inside the store just before the attack. The cap was found at the scene.
