THOMPSON, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a toddler pulled from a pool at a summer home in the Catskills last weekend has died at a hospital.
The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office tells the Times Herald-Record of Middletown (http://bit.ly/18aRsNG ) that 22-month-old Zev Glick and his 3-year-old brother managed to get into a closed pool early Saturday afternoon at the Wellsprings bungalow colony in Thompson, 75 miles northwest of New York City.
Deputies say the brother ran for help and the boys' father and another man pulled Zev from the water. He was taken to a local hospital before being flown to Westchester Medical Center, where he died Tuesday night.
On Friday, an 8-year-old boy was pulled from a pool at a bungalow colony in neighboring Monticello. He's listed in stable condition at the Westchester hospital.
