St. Ann’s Church is worth preserving
People who pray at St. Ann’s are standing on holy ground. Once the neighborhood of candidate for sainthood Father Nelson Baker, St. Ann’s has produced countless priests, sisters, doctors, lawyers, executives and teachers. Former mayors Frank Schwab and Jimmy Griffin frequently attended Mass at St. Ann’s.
Priests are ordained to preach, to teach and to sanctify, all functions being fulfilled in the Mass. Although retired, when invited Monsignor John Zeitler continues to serve his sacred mission. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
