The J.P. Dudley Library in South Buffalo will get a new roof and a new heating and ventilating system, thanks in part to a $119,108 State Public Library Construction Grant announced Monday by State Sen. Timothy M. Kennedy, D-Buffalo, and Assemblyman Michael P. Kearns, D-Buffalo.

Body copy rag: The total project, which also includes new windows and masonry repairs, is estimated at nearly $360,000. The City of Buffalo, which owns the building at 2010 South Park Ave., and the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library will share in the rest of the cost.
