FC Buffalo fell to Detroit City FC, 2-1, in front of 1,004 fans at All-High Stadium Sunday. The attendance was a season high.

While the score was relatively low, most other numbers were high. The game included 27 fouls, 20 shots and six yellow cards.

The win gave Detroit City (11-1-0) its first Rust Belt Derby title, a three-team regular-season competition between Detroit, Buffalo and AFC Cleveland.

Ugo Uche, a substitute who came in during the second half, and Jeff Adkins scored Le Rouge’s goals with Ian Mort (Geneseo) netting FC Buffalo’s off a feed from Andy Tiedt (University at Buffalo).

The No. 2 seed Blitzers will play No. 3 Erie Saturday in Detroit in the National Premier Soccer League Midwest Conference Great Lakes Division semifinals.

FC Buffalo finished the regular season 8-4.
