Astronics Corp. and PECO have agreed to extend the closing date for their deal to Aug. 9.

Astronics, an East Aurora-based aircraft lighting and cabin electronics manufacturer, announced in May it had agreed to buy PECO for $136 million in cash. Oregon-based PECO makes the aircraft cabin lighting and air flow components located above passenger seats.

At the time the deal was announced, Astronics said the deal was expected to close in late June.
