Does Buffalo have room for another pizzeria? CiCi’s Pizza seems to think so.
The privately-owned, Texas-based chain of all-you-can-eat buffets is looking to build two restaurants in the greater Buffalo region over the next five years.
“Buffalo can certainly support CiCi’s. It’s a concept that will resonate very well with families,” said Tom McCord, the company’s senior vice president of real estate and franchise development.
The company has not yet settled on a location.
CiCi’s is known for its affordable buffets offering eight to 11 varieties of pizza at a time. Customers can also order from a menu of 28 varieties of pizza for no additional charge. An adult buffet meal, which is priced at $4.99, also includes several types of pasta, soup, salad, wings and dessert.
Currently, the closest locations have been in Rochester and Erie, Pa.
The company has more than 500 restaurants in 34 states.
