NIAGARA FALLS – A Falls man was arrested Tuesday, accused of pistol whipping a woman and putting a gun to her son’s head.
Dionte D. Dolson, 19, of McKoon Avenue, was charged with second-degree assault with a weapon and second-degree menacing on Tuesday, for his role in an incident at 8 p.m. Monday in the 2800 block of Eagle Heights. Brittny D. Robinson, 27, of Eagle Heights, who was with Dolson when he was arrested Tuesday was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration after she allegedly became argumentative with police.
The 41-year-old victim said a group of 15 to 20 males approached her family as they sat on the porch listening to music and after the group hurled racial insults she said a large fight broke out. She said a male, later identified as Dolson, punched and kicked her son and then held a gun to his face, while others yelled for him to shoot her son. She said she was in fear for his life and when she ran to help, Dolson pistol whipped her in the head twice.
Police were called to take the report at 10 a.m. Tuesday and as they interviewed the victim, Dolson was noted getting into a nearby car. He was arrested after being identified by the victims.
