Kathleen Morris and Steven Mong were married at 2 p.m. June 15 in Christ United Methodist Church, Amherst. Guests gathered for a reception at Hotel @ The Lafayette, Buffalo. The Rev. Dr. Robert J. Norrix of Christ United Methodist Church heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Marilyn E. and William M. Morris of Amherst. The bridegroom’s parents are Laurie J. and Ronald W. Mong of Oil City, Pa. The bride is a graduate of Amherst Central High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in biomolecular science from Clarkson University and also earned a doctor of medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Kathleen is a medical resident physician at Indiana University School of Medicine. The groom is a graduate of Oil City High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Baldwin Wallace University and also earned a doctor of medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Steven is a surgical resident physician at Indiana University. The couple will make their home in Indianapolis, Ind.
