Nicole Ball, assistant chapter adviser for Sigma Chapter (SUNY Buffalo State) of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority, will attend the organization’s first national Adviser Academy from Friday through Sunday in Chicago, Advisers will attend workshops about how they can best support collegians as they strive to maintain the organization’s high standards of excellence in academics, ethics and leadership. This enhanced training will allow advisers, representing up to 85 collegiate chapters nationwide, to share ideas. Nicole Ball is in her second term as president of the Buffalo Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau.

The Buffalo Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau will hold a wine tour and luncheon Saturday in lieu of their annual Mystery Trip. Participants should meet in the parking lot near Macy’s Men’s Store at the Boulevard Mall, Amherst, at 9:30 a.m. prior to departure for selected stops on the Niagara Wine Trail. The Ladies of Tan Tara Ladies Golf Club will have its annual Spring Member-Member at 1 p.m. Saturday. Hosted by Patty Hanavan and Stacy Michalski, the theme of the event will be “Get Your Groove On.” It will be a two-girl best ball format, with dinner and prizes following golf.
