Larger-than-usual crowds are expected at Buffalo Niagara International Airport during the next week as more than 700 veterans arrive to take part in the 27th National Veterans Golden Age Games in Buffalo.

The Transportation Security Administration advises travelers to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their scheduled flights so they can pass through security checks in time to catch their planes. Veteran athletes are expected to begin arriving today.

The games begin Friday and continue through Wednesday.

The TSA says the airport is expected to be especially busy as veterans and their families head home Wednesday and June 6.
