MAYVILLE – Two Jamestown men and a Dunkirk man were being held in the Chautauqua County Jail here on burglary and stolen property charges after their arrests by state troopers, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies and Village of Fredonia police officers, officials said Thursday.

William E. Jackson Jr., 25, and Alese M. Kircher, 21, both of Jamestown, have been held on second-degree burglary charges since their arrests in the Village of Fredonia on Monday for their alleged roles in the burglary of a home on State Route 29 in the Town of Sheridan that morning.

Quentin A. Watts, 20, of Dunkirk, was arrested Tuesday in the Village of Fredonia on a charge of criminal possession of stolen property allegedly taken in a house burglary on State Route 83 in the Town of Arkwright.
