A 19-year-old Warsaw motorcyclist remained in the Wyoming County Jail on Monday evening after a high-speed chase along State Route 19 through the Town of Middlebury. Police said his speed was clocked at up to 108 mph in a 35-mph zone.

Quinton M. Murphy, of West Buffalo Street, Warsaw, eventually stopped for Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies, state troopers and Warsaw police at about 12:20 a.m. Monday.

After his motorcycle was towed, he was arraigned in Warsaw Town Court and held in lieu of $20,000 bail, charged with unlawful fleeing from a police officer, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, refusing prescreening, failure to comply with a lawful order and speeding.
