Hillside Family of Agencies affiliate Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection, a dropout-prevention program, named Chastity Johnson and Catherine Ejimadu youth advocates at Bennett High School in Buffalo. Johnson is a graduate of the Hillside Work-Scholarship program. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from SUNY Buffalo State. Ejimadu previously worked as a residential counselor at Gateway-Longview. She also has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from SUNY Buffalo State.

The Labor and Employment Relations Association of WNY recently honored Dennis J. Campagna as the 2013 Labor and Employment Relations Association of Western New York’s Charles E. Leonard Citizen of the Year. Campagna is an adjunct faculty member at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, New York City office, and also serves as a special magistrate for labor relations for Florida’s Public Employees Relations Commission. He previously was a law partner in a Buffalo law firm.
M&T Bank’s Merchant Services division has launched two products aimed at helping small businesses and middle-market customers manage their cash flow. M&T Mobile for Merchants features a small card reader that can be attached to smartphones or tablet devices to process credit card payments. The other new product, Portfolio Manager, is a Web-based tool that allows clients to monitor credit card transactions and other account information.
The Bonadio Group recently acquired Independent Audit Associates, its first out-of-state acquisition. The deal will add a new office location in Rutland, Vt., and six employees.
