The Buffalo News invited school board candidates to provide a statement about why they are running for office.

I believe one person can make a difference in a community. It is that solid belief that keeps pushing me forward to be an advocate for the people in North Tonawanda.

I have a proven record of voting fairly on topics, and I am known to ask the hard questions. I am not afraid to speak up when pressured to make decisions, and I am not afraid to keep people accountable.

I feel my original goals of increasing utilization of the buildings for community members, ensuring the sharing of accurate, honest information, accountability with all members of staff, asking challenging questions, and ultimately supporting a well-rounded respectful, productive school child have all been areas I would like to continue to address if elected to another term.
