The Buffalo News invited school board candidates to provide a statement about why they are running for office.

I grew up in Lackawanna and graduated from Lackawanna High School in 2000. I went on to earn a B.S. in Business Administration from University at Buffalo. After graduation I worked in the Insurance industry before deciding to become a stay at home mom to my three children.

I am highly involved as a parent volunteer in the district. Currently I serve as President of the Truman School PTA. I also sit on the building planning team.

My main goal for our school district is raising student achievement. This can be done by making student centered decisions, using our financial resources wisely, and increasing parent involvement.
