The Buffalo News invited school board candidates to provide a statement about why they are running for office.
My Husband, Michael and I have made West Seneca our hometown for the past 11 years. We specifically chose West Seneca because of the community and school system. Our son is currently in 7th grade at the middle school. Not only do I live here, I also work full time as a Paralegal for a local Attorney. I have been a member with the Western New York Paralegal Association for 24 years.
I was the PTA President and Scholastic Book Fair Chairperson at West Elementary. Currently as the Website Coordinator for West Middle and District Parent Council and still chairing the Book Fairs. I am very appreciative of the committees within the District as I participated with the selection of the last 2 Superintendents and currently serve on the 21st Century Skills, Public Relations Committee and the Meet the Candidates Night Chair and Moderator. Our District strives to put our children first and I hope my voice on these committees shows a strong parent perspective. You can find me once a month at Queen of Heaven Church working Bingo or the Carnival. I am also involved with Lukey’s Legacy (Luke Gould ) which is very near and dear to my heart. We are working to raise awareness for Myocarditis.
I want to be a part of the School Board. I know I have the dedication and passion to continue to strive to make our School District the best it can be.
Please come out and place your vote. I would like your support on Tuesday, May 21st.
