The Buffalo News invited school board candidates to provide a statement about why they are running for office.

I am running for the school board to help preserve quality education for the Eden School District. Candidates offer balance. I offer a diverse mindset, willingness to have discussions that include viewpoints and to debate all possible options. I am willing to listen to the taxpayers of the community. I am willing to look into other ways to generate revenue and ways to save money.

My priorities will be to preserve programs, opportunities, and the health and safety of the students. I hope to develop healthy relationships with teachers, administrators, and other school personal. I want to work together as a team to develop the best programs in the most cost effective way. I want to recognize current programs’ successes and student results, not be antagonistic toward key stakeholders.
