The Village of East Aurora will hold an open house Tuesday at 7 p.m. the fire station at 575 Oakwood to give people a chance to look at drawings of the new fire hall.
The new modern building that will be built at 33 Center Street – where there is now a former dentists’ office – will make it easier for bigger equipment to manuever in and out of. It is now estimated to cost about $6.1 million, and construction may begin as soon as this fall, said Bryan Gazda, village admnistrator.
The public is invited to come talk to the design professionals. Architects and representatives from the construction management and site engineering firms will be available until about 9 p.m., Gazda said.
