Cummins Inc. named Mike Abbate manager of its Jamestown engine plant. He had served in the job on an interim basis since January. Abbate has been with Cummins for 31 years and has spent the past 10 years as the Jamestown plant’s director of materials and supply chain. He succeeds David Porter, who took a different position with Cummins at its corporate offices in Columbus, Ind.
