The public will have a chance to comment on Mayor Byron W. Brown’s proposed 2013-14 budget at 5 p.m. Thursday in Council Chambers on the 13th floor of City Hall.

The Common Council will hear from residents about the $482.5 million spending plan, which includes $70.3 million for the Board of Education.

The budget contains no tax or fee increases.

A separate hearing on funding for the Board of Education, where the Council will hear from school district representatives, will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, also in Chambers.
