A State Senate round-table discussion on the future of the Skyway will be held May 15 at the Pierce Arrow Transportation Museum, 263 Michigan Ave.
The event will feature Republican Sens. Mark J. Grisanti of Buffalo and Charles J. Fuschillo of Massapequa, chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee. Representatives of several corporate and government stakeholders also will participate.
Grisanti said the discussion will explore access to the inner and outer harbor, Ohio Street and Fuhrmann Boulevard; the Skyway’s business role; its cost effectiveness and development alternatives should it be removed.
The event begins at 10 a.m.
