Music and food will be on the program at a public library “happy hour” fundraiser planned from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Buffalo’s Central Library, organizers said.

The fundraiser is planned for the outdoor ramp in front of the library building on Washington Street, weather permitting.

Tickets cost $12 for library card holders and $15 for all others. Attendees must be at least 21 years old, organizers said.

Live music will be featured, including The Rockaz band, which plays upbeat dance music. Food will be available for sale by the library’s Fables Cafe & Catering.

The event will raise money for the 37 libraries in the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library system, library staff said.

Tickets may be purchased at the door or ahead of time by contacting the library. More information is available at 858-7182.
