The 55-member Jamison Road Volunteer Fire Company has received an $82,251 federal grant that will allow the Town of Elma fire company to replace its current air pack equipment which is more than 14 years old, according to Fire Chief Brian Nolan Jr.

The grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant program will enable the company to buy 14 new SCBA air packs to “help our firefighters better serve our community,” Nolan said.
