Spectators should sing anthem at every event

It was a beautiful sound to hear “The Star-Spangled Banner” being sung by hockey fans at the Sabres-Bruins game in Boston last week. I think it should be sung by the fans at all of our sporting events.

It’s great to hear a singer with a good voice sing our anthem. But I feel you can’t compare it to 15,000 fans singing it with tears in their eyes. This song is who we are as a nation. When we sing it, we tell the world who we are, in good times and bad. We show the world that we care and we love our country.
