A Hamburg man was charged with a felony count of driving while impaired by drugs in Buffalo Tuesday night.
Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Simon Biegasiewicz and Detective Emily Nelson were patrolling with the Buffalo Strike Force on Rommel Avenue near Broadway when they saw a suspicious vehicle parked in front of an empty parking lot shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday. Further investigation revealed the driver was impaired by drugs, according to Sheriff Timothy B. Howard.
Elliott Boltz, 24, was charged with felony driving while impaired by drugs and was released on an appearance ticket. He was charged with a felony since he has a prior conviction on the same charge in 2011.
