FREWSBURG – The 13th annual Workers’ Memorial Day, which pays tribute to all the Chautauqua County residents who have been injured or killed on the job, will be held at 11 a.m. May 4 at the Workers’ Memorial Site in Erlandson Overview Park on Oak Hill Road.

Scheduled to speak are Arthur C. Wheaton, director of Western New York labor and environmental programs at Cornell University’s Industrial Labor Relations School; State Sen. Catharine Young, R-Olean; Assemblyman Andrew Goodell, R-Chautauqua; and Jacqueline Chiarot, representing Rep. Tom Reed, R-Corning. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.

The Chautauqua County Workers’ Memorial Site is supported by county government, the county Parks Commission, local labor organizations and private donations.
