JAMESTOWN -- A 38-year-old Jamestown fugitive sought since a raid on an alleged meth lab on Barrows Street was arrested at a house on Lakecrest Avenue in Lakewood about 10 a.m. Tuesday by Jamestown and Lakewood-Busti police officers.

Donald W. Dean was taken into custody after Jamestown police received several anonymous tips on the department’s TIPS phone line.

Dean was being held on a felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second-degree and unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third-degree. The charges were linked to a narcotics raid last week at 181 Barrows Street by Jamestown police, State Police and Department of Homeland Security officers.
