Thieves robbed two pizza delivery employees at gunpoint early today while they tried to make a delivery at a West Side address, according to Buffalo police.

The employees were delivering an order at 2:45 a.m. to a residence on Farmer Street, between East and Guernsey streets, where they found a mostly vacant lot with a boat in the front and a house in the rear.

A man standing behind a fence called the employees over to deliver the food. As the employees walked toward him, three other men jumped out from behind the boat.

One of the robbers had a long-barreled gun and ordered the employees to give up their belongings. The thieves took $200 cash, two cell phones and the order of pizza and wings.
