The Buffalo Spring Sectional Tournament continues with pairs games at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. today, Saturday, April, 20, in Main-Transit Fire Hall, 6777 Main St., Williamsville, and concludes with Swiss teams at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 21. For more info, click this link.
In conjunction with the tournament, the Airport Bridge Club, the Bridge Center of Buffalo and the Lockport Duplicate Club are closed today, Saturday. The Airport Club also is closed Sunday.
Next week is charity week with extra points Monday, April 22, at the 10:30 a.m. game Bridge Club Meridian (Boston Marathon relief), and at all games at the Bridge Center of Buffalo Monday through Friday and all games at the Airport Bridge Club Monday through Saturday.
The Bridge Center of Buffalo has a 99er game at noon Monday and lunch with Jim Gullo during its 10:30 a.m. game Friday.
The Airport Bridge Club has double-point Swiss teams with free pizza at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 28. Call 836-7016 for teams and info.
A new schedule of rotating evening stratified pairs games will kick off next month at the Airport Bridge Club. Games featuring double points and “chef creations” will begin at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, May 6; Tuesday, May 14; Wednesday, May 22; and Friday, May 31.
