A ribbon-cutting and garden party will kick off the 17th annual Decorator’s Show House beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the Knox Summer Estate at Knox Farm State Park, East Aurora.
The event, co-sponsored by the Junior League of Buffalo and The News, will be the first tour of the former Knox family home which has been transformed into this year’s Show House. The events at Show House are a celebration of the efforts of hundreds of Junior League and community volunteers, in addition to those contributed by more than 55 local decorators and landscapers.
Decorator’s Show House 2013 will be open to the general public beginning Saturday through May 19. The hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays through Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays.
