C. Andrew Sheret, longtime owner and operator of Sheret Jewelers in Springville, died unexpectedly Monday in his home. He was 59.
Born in Springville, Mr. Sheret was a 1971 graduate of Springville-Griffith Institute and attended Fredonia State College. He owned the jewelry store for 35 years.
Mr. Sheret enjoyed playing cards with many close friends he’d known since high school. His other interests included camping, fishing, and crossword and Sudoku puzzles.
He was a member of the Springville Chamber of Commerce and First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Elise M. Rose; his parents, Donald M. and Jean W.; three brothers, Gordon, Weir and Brian G.; and a sister, Pamela Lindsay.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church, 38 N. Buffalo St., Springville.
