Mike Krische tripled and scored on a wild pitch with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to give Canisius a 2-1 win over the University at Buffalo and a sweep of their double-header Wednesday at the Demske Sports Complex. The Griffs (24-10) won the opener, 7-5, finally getting the final out after the Bulls (18-16) had scored four times in the seventh inning. In the opener, Jesse Kelso made a diving catch in left center in the fourth inning to cut short a UB threat after the Griffs had taken a 7-1 lead.

Junior Tyler Soucie picked up his first win as a Golden Griffin by throwing a scoreless seventh inning in the second game.
