Hilbert College named Justin Rogers director of admissions. Rogers spent the last eight years at Brockport State College, where he served as the coordinator of undergraduate transfer admission and enrollment, and adviser for freshman undergraduate recruitment admissions.
Five Star Bank promoted Cybil J. Everman to area sales manager, vice president. Everman will oversee the sales efforts of eight of the bank’s branches in addition to her role as branch manager of the Dansville bank location. She joined the bank in 2006 as an assistant branch manager and has held positions in the organization as a branch manager and area sales manager. She holds an associate’s degree from Finger Lakes Community College.

FASTSIGNS of Tonawanda–Buffalo was named rookie of the year for resale centers at the 2013 FASTSIGNS Convention, recently held in Dallas. The award honors the center with the highest comparative sales percentage for the first 12 months of ownership compared with the prior 12 months. John and Mary Ellen Fletcher and their daughter, Barbara Meyers, purchased FASTSIGNS of Tonawanda–Buffalo in 2011. The center is located at 2865 Sheridan Drive, Town of Tonawanda.
MetLife Foundation awarded a $10,000 Volunteer Ventures grant to Gliding Stars in support of a project proposed by Jeredith Nolan, a New England Financial employee who volunteers with the organization. The project involved an annual ice show starring more than 100 skaters with individual special needs of varying degrees and volunteer partners of all ages. Gliding Stars is a not-for-profit organization that provides ice-skating programs for individuals with disabilities.
