Bring fishing back to Squaw Island Park
I would like to thank the “fun stealer” who decided to close the Squaw Island Park pier. I have fished there for six or seven years and really enjoyed it. There are not too many places to fish off shore without having to travel long distances. It was safe, easy to access, nice for seniors to fish and just a nice walk for people. If not meant for public access or fishing, then why did the Department of Environmental Conservation check licenses?
Thanks for taking away another place to spend time and enjoy.
