Niagara Blower, a Town of Tonawanda maker of specialized industrial heat transfer and air conditioning systems, will expand and add 25 jobs.
Niagara Blower currently employs 130 people. The company has bought a 110,000-square-foot building and adjacent property at Sawyer Avenue and is renovating the space and buying new equipment and machinery, according to Empire State Development. The project is valued at $5.4 million.
Empire State Development will support the project with up to $800,000 in Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits.
Niagara Blower said the state’s support will help the company grow to manage increased demand for highly efficient heat transfer systems, especially for applications related to processing natural gas liquids.
