Scored 17 points in the victory over then-undefeated Sacred Heart. “She’s a do-it-all-type of kid, could guard the other team’s point guard or best post player. She filled a lot of roles for us,” said Cardinal O’Hara coach Dan McDermott. Shared MMA South MVP honors with teammate Leah McDonell. Provided inspirational leadership after being forced to miss the Federation tournament with a blood clot in her shoulder.

Signed with the University of Hartford where she will study business management. Finished her career with 832 points and 571 rebounds in two years as a starter. Led the Sharks to a 25-3 record and back-to-back Monsignor Martin Association titles as a starter. Moves up from last year’s All-WNY second team. Had 18 points and 16 rebounds in lopsided win over Cardinal O’Hara in the MMA championships game. Named MVP of the Al Pastor Tournament. Her year-long play helped the Sharks earn the No. 1 large school ranking in the final poll. She has three games in which she had at least seven steals. She had 14 in a season-ending loss to Nazareth in the Catholic Class A semifinal.

Scored 407 points to finish her career with 1,617 and moving into No. 2 all-time for points in a career in the Monsignor Martin Association. Used her shooting touch from the outside to connected on 40 three-pointers. Averaged 70 percent from the free-throw line. A four-year starter. Her play helped the Hawks finish with a school record 28 wins against two losses. McDonell and Edwards were 50-7 the last two years as starters. MVP of the Jamestown Tournament. “She’s got one of those motors where she never stops,” said Cardinal O’Hara coach Dan McDermott. “She takes pride in staying in shape year round and works hard.”
Holy Angels: 5-6 junior guard

Voted by league coaches as the MVP of the Monsignor Martin Association. Broke MMA’s single season scoring record with 662 points, eclipsing the old total by 100 points. Defends like crazy for her size. Feasted on breakaway layups after stealing the ball in the backcourt. Averaged 3.5 assists, and at 5-foot-6, led her team in rebounds with a 5.9 average. Has a three-year total of 1,521 points, placing her fourth all-time in the MMA behind Reanne Stillwell (1,776), Leah McDonell (1,617) and Rachel Michalek (1,613). Had 38 points at eventual Class AA champion Jamestown and 39 versus Immaculata. Shot 45 percent from the floor.
