Robert W. Waterman Sr., of Cheektowaga, a retired Buffalo Forge employee, died Saturday in Delaware Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 93.
Born in Depew, Mr. Waterman was a graduate of Eden High School and served in the Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater during World War II, attaining the rank of sergeant.
He worked as a grinder at Buffalo Forge, retiring in 1984.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, the former Marion Corle; three sons, James Breighner, Robert Jr. and Richard; two daughters, Pat Szymkowski and Karen; and a brother, Arthur Lee Kennedy.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Amigone Funeral Home, 569 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga.
