BASKETBALL: The Eldredge Club’s annual tournament will start the week of April 15, at the club, 17 Broad St., Tonawanda. It will be double elimination with referees and four divisions, Open, 40-Over, 50-Over, 60-Over. Registration is $150 per team if paid in full by April 8 and $160 per team after that. The Buffalo 716ers pro basketball team will hold a men’s pro combine and evaluation tournament at Holy Angels Academy on April 28. Players without college eligibility are invited to participate. Players who attend the regional combine will be evaluated to assess their skills for professional basketball. The combine is limited to 60 players and 32 will be selected. Registration fee is $150 and can be completed at http://buffalo716ers-efbevent.eventbrite.com or by contacting Buffalo email@example.com. Registration deadline is April 20.
BOWLING: Jamestown Bowling Co. will host the 11th annual Hall Of Fame Masters Scratch Tournament at 10 a.m. April 14 and the 38th Annual Family Tournament at 10 a.m. April 28, 850 Foote Ave., Jamestown. Call 483-1818.
GOLF: The Brighton Park Women’s Golf Club will honor Mae Coates for 50 years of service at its 50th spring luncheon, April 20 at Crazy Jake’s in North Tonawanda. Officers for the coming season are: president, Kerry Hunter; vice-president, Sharon Hammersmith; secretary, Carol Noack; and treasurer, Mae Coates.
HOCKEY: The Buffalo Stars Juniors will conduct a meet-and-greet session to talk about their Junior and full season Midget programs Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., in the junior locker room at Holiday Twin Rinks, Cheektowaga. They will also hold tryouts for their junior team at 9:15 p.m. April 8, and 4 p.m. April 9 at Holiday Twin Rinks.
