LOCKPORT – A Basom man driving through the Town of Lockport without headlights on was stopped and charged with drunken driving after running a stoplight at Lincoln Avenue at Davison Road just after 2 a.m. Sunday, Niagara County deputies said.

Jeffrey J. Cervone, 44, of Skye Road, posted a blood-alcohol level of .19 percent, more than two times the legal limit. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI, failure to use headlights and passing a red light, according to deputies.
