The DiMino Lower Niagara Running Series is gearing up for another great running season with help from a $10,000 donation from Anthony DiMino, owner of Tops in Lewiston, and the addition of three new races.

The series has changed from a 5K series to a “running” series and will offer a variety of races that highlight the beauty and history of the region. The series starts May 11 in Youngstown and ends with the Hospice Dash 5K in Porter.

Competitive and noncompetitive runners are welcome to participate. Runners who run four out of the seven races below will be eligible for cash prizes and series awards. Athletes who run all seven races will be presented with a special gift regardless of their race times.

Details and registration on all of the races below, as well as several other local events, can be found online at www.racemanagementsolutions.com.

Running Series races include:

• Nancy Price Memorial 5K – May 11

• Mount St. Mary’s Hospital 5K River Run – June 22

• Jason Raby Memorial 5K – July 27

• Bond Lake Athletic Club Rut Race – Aug. 12
