Older workers have much to offer on job

I read Kyle Kelthy’s My View a couple of weeks ago and I agree with him. I moved here from Florida a year ago. I still have not found a job. It’s not like I don’t have experience. I can only think it’s my age and that’s why no one will hire me. What happened to training people or giving them a chance? What happened to people helping each other?

I thank the Lord for my sister, who has taken me in, but I want to live independently once again. I cannot do this without employment. What little bit of money I do have just keeps getting lower and lower.

There is one more thing I would like to mention. My brother is disabled. He has multiple sclerosis. He does get a monthly check, but it never lasts the whole month. So he applied for food stamps, hoping this would help him. Oh, he got them. But can anyone buy much for $16 a month? Yes, that is all he received. I couldn’t believe it. It makes no sense to me at all.

I know there are others in worse shape than I am or even my brother. But a little bit of help would go a long way.
