Say Yes Buffalo has announced that it has reached its target goal of getting every graduating senior to fill out their certification form, which allows them to be eligible for scholarships to two- and four-year colleges and to vocational schools.

The seniors will still need to graduate from high school and to be accepted into a school or college.

“We’re thrilled to have made such a great change in the college and post-secondary-going culture, in partnership with the district in our first year,” David Rust, executive director of Say Yes Buffalo, said Friday.

“We’re also close to 100 percent of the eligible seniors applying to at least one college or trade school.”
