The University at Buffalo named Tyler Harding director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences. He is a Brockport State College graduate. Also, the university named Nick Lane corporate and foundation relations coordinator. He holds a master’s degree from UB, as well as bachelor’s degrees from the University at Binghamton. In addition, the university appointed Mark Haenle Russell associate director of leadership annual giving. Russell is a Wake Forest University graduate.


Five Star Bank has promoted Robert Cummins to vice president. Cummins joined the bank in 1998 as a treasury intern and has also held roles as a commercial credit analyst, asset/liability analyst and assistant treasurer within the organization. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Geneseo State College.

This is the second Bar and Shield Circle of Achievement Award the dealership has received.
