Company Connections

The newly remodeled Rite Aid Wellness Store at 798 Harlem Road in West Seneca will hold a grand opening event from noon to 4 p.m. today. The store will offer free product samples and health screenings, including cholesterol testing, blood glucose testing and blood pressure readings.


The Wyoming County Business Center, now administered by the Wyoming County IDA, provided financial assistance to Bear Communications that will allow for the new business to get started selling and installing phone systems, network and telecom cabling, surveillance systems and audio and video projects. The new business will be located at 8 Liberty St. in Arcade. Bear Communications was founded by Andrew Stang and Richard Owens and is anticipated to create three new technology jobs over the next few years.


The Batavia Animal Hospital has begun serving patients at its new facility, located on the grounds of the former clinic at 3699 W. Main Street Road. The hospital was purchased from Dr. Raymond Pray by the partners of the Perry Veterinary Clinic in October 2011.
